Jim Morrisson, ícone do rock e vocalista da banda norte-americana The Doors, pode estar vivo e morando em Seychelles (arquipélago africano localizado no Oceano Índico), de acordo com seu velho companheiro de banda, o tecladista Ray Manzarek. Morrison foi encontrado morto em 1971, em Paris, França.
O tecladista contou ao jornal inglês Daily Mail que à época suspeitou da morte de Jim Morrison porque o vocalista já tinha falado sobre a possibilidade de simular sua própria e esconder em algum lugar distante dos EUA.

Segundo Ray Manzarek, um ano depois de Morrison falar sobre a simulação de sua morte, ele foi encontrado morto. A causa da morte foi ataque cardíaco, consequência de abuso de drogas.
As circustâncias enigmáticas sob as quais o vocalista morreu levaram a contínuas especulações sobre a probabilidade de Morrison ainda estar vivo.
"Eu ainda me pergunto se sua morte foi uma charada complexa", disse Manzarek ao Daily Mail. "Jim era uma alma inquieta, sempre procurando por algo a mais em sua vida, e mesmo os seis anos de sucesso - e excessos - do The Doors não eram o suficiente para ele". Manzarek continou especulando: "um ano antes (de sua morte), ele me mostrou um folheto sobre Seychelles e disse: 'não seria o lugar perfeito para fugir se todo mundo acreditasse na sua morte?'
